Our monthly worship nights on a Sunday evening (every 3rd).  Come along for an informal gathering of sung worship, youth-accessible Bible teaching, and a chance to respond in prayer.

We hope it will also be a space for those who’ve served on Sunday mornings in their home churches to come and find some input, encouragement and refreshment

Our Mission

We are called to serve our local parish and the wider community so that what we say and do reflects our love of God in Christ Jesus such that people will find a spiritual home here with us at St John’s.

St John’s: A community that grows in our love of Christ, each other and our parish.

Growing in our love of God in worship across various traditions. Being people of both word AND Spirit; people of both word AND prayer; meeting Christ in word AND sacrament.

Growing in our love of each other: loving each other like a spiritual family as God enables us. Welcoming, knowing and caring for each other with all our many differences. Serving and being served by one another as the Holy Spirit gifts us. We want to be a church where everyone is known, everyone participates and no-one stops growing spiritually.

Growing in our love of Spalding: displaying God’s love in word and deed to our town in all its variety. We want to find out the need around us, we want to discover the ways God has equipped us to serve and meet those needs, and we want to love Spalding and the wider world like God does – sharing and reflecting the gospel of Christ.
